Let’s Talk

What is BLIK to Card by Fenige?

BLIK to Card is a cross-border money-transfer service that combines:
  • BLIK – the popular Polish mobile payment method integrated into banking apps, used here to initiate the transfer from the sender’s bank account;
  • Card rails – the funds are delivered to a Visa or Mastercard payment card belonging to the recipient.
From the user’s point of view, the flow is simple:

BLIK Payment

The sender starts a BLIK payment from their mobile banking app.

Payment Converted to Transfer

Fenige converts that into a transfer to the chosen card.

Quickly credited

The recipient’s card account is credited usually within 30 seconds, even if the card is issued by a bank in another country.

Where BLIK to Card fits in your stack

Use BLIK to Card when you want:

Instant Transfers From Polish Bank Accounts

To Send Money Abroad

to family, friends or themselves without knowing an IBAN – only the destination card is needed;

Additional Payment Option

Refunds And Paybacks

being built where customers get money back on card, but the original source of funds is a BLIK payment from their bank account.

Key benefits

BLIK in, card out

Senders pay the way they already know – with BLIK in their banking app – while recipients receive money on a standard payment card (debit or credit). There’s no need for both sides to use the same bank or even the same country.

Up to 30-second delivery

Fenige and partners highlight that funds and refunds sent via BLIK to Card are usually credited in a maximum of around 30 seconds, instead of hours or days with SWIFT.

No account numbers or SWIFT

The sender doesn’t need the recipient’s IBAN or BIC. BLIK initiates the transfer from the bank account, and Fenige routes it to the card – bypassing slow, complex SWIFT transfers.

Strong security from bank + card schemes

The sender authenticates in their bank’s BLIK flow (PIN, biometrics, etc.), and the payout is processed via Visa/Mastercard infrastructure. Fenige, as a regulated payment institution, handles the transaction according to payments law and scheme rules.

Designed for money-transfer and fintech apps

BLIK to Card is available as part of Fenige’s transfer stack (alongside Card to Card and account-based flows) exposed via API and documented in the Developer Zone – ideal for money-transfer merchants, wallets and other fintechs.

How BLIK to Card works

  • 1

    Sender starts a BLIK transfer

In their mobile banking app, the payer chooses BLIK payment (for example, transfer to phone / BLIK) and confirms the transaction from their bank account.
  • 2

Your service passes the order to Fenige

Your app or partner “Service” sends a payment order to Fenige via API, specifying that this is a BLIK-to-Card transaction, with the amount and destination card details.
  • 3

Fenige routes the funds to the card

Fenige receives the funds from the payer’s bank and forwards them to the issuer of the recipient’s Visa or Mastercard card, so that the associated account can be credited.
  • 4

Recipient gets the money on card

The recipient’s bank posts the transfer to the card account; in typical cases this happens in up to 30 seconds, and your system can present a success status to both sides.
