This service allows you to quickly obtain money that can be used for any purpose, for example to pay bills, make purchases or finance unforeseen expenses. Types of credit card transfers

You can make various types of transfers from your credit card, just like you can make transfers from your personal account. The most common options are:

transfer to your own account in the same bank;

transfer to the account of another person, company or organization;

transfer to ZUS or tax office.

It is worth remembering that credit card accounts are usually not linked to BLIK or PayPal services, so in order to use these payment methods, you will need to transfer funds to your personal account in advance.

Credit card transfer and interest-free period

Depending on the policy of a given bank, a credit card transfer may be treated as a cashless or cash transaction. In the first case, the cardholder can take advantage of the interest-free period, which allows you to defer debt repayment for up to 54 days without charging interest. However, if the bank considers the transfer to be a cash transaction, the interest-free period will not apply and interest will start to accrue from the date of the transfer.

Credit card transfer – is it worth it?

A credit card transfer is a service that may be useful when you urgently need additional funds. Before using this option, however, it is worth thoroughly familiarizing yourself with the costs and rules of operation of the service in a given bank. It should also be remembered that a credit card transfer should be treated as an ad hoc solution, not a permanent source of financing, due to the high fees and commissions associated with it.

An alternative to credit card transfers may be other forms of borrowing money, such as a cash loan, a personal account limit or a loan from family or friends. It is always worth carefully analyzing the available options and choosing the one that best suits our needs and financial possibilities.
